MAKE THIS EASY DIY HALLOWEEN Gift Box Using Your CRICUT!

Today, I am sharing a tutorial for making this simple yet cute and useful gable box using your Cricut machine. The Cricut Design Space App and the Cricut cutting machine does most of the difficult work for you so you can quickly get to the fun part of decorating it! You are going to love how easy it is to create your own boxes! You can change the size of them easily and your family and friends are going to enjoy receiving these one of a kind gifts!

Cricut Design Space (CDS) gable box tutorial
Start with a clean canvas in the CDS app.

#2. Search Images by inserting “ 3D Boxes” in the search bar.

# 3 EDIT THE IMAGE TO THE SIZE YOU WANT. I SIZED THIS TO 10.5 BY 6.69 INCHES.
#3 Attach the scoring lines to the box image.
#4 Save your project.
#5 Make IT! Choose your cutting mat and the size of paper you need. For this size box, use a 12 by 12 inch Cardstock.
# 7 Choose your machine
Select your Cricut
#8 Set the material to Cardstock
#9 Place your Cardstock on the cutting mat.
#10 Load mat into the Cricut.
#11. Check that your scoring tool or Cricut Pen has been loaded into the slot A clamp IF you wish the Cricut to score for you.
#12. The Cricut will Score or draw your score lines and Cut the box image for you.
#13. Here is the box image after it has drawn the score lines and cut the image out.
#14. Fold and burnish the scored lines.
# 15. Place a bit of glue onto the tab. Remember to fold the box with the score lines on the inside.

Put the box together and decorate it any way you like! It’s big enough to hold a small candle or loads of candies!
