Making Boxes
Hello and welcome to my studio! I’m so glad you’re here because I am sharing with you the “How-To” for a very useful 3 inch cube box. I love making my own boxes, bags and tags. Before I began crafting, I was always searching for just the right box for gifts that I was giving. And usually my search was in vain. It’s very difficult to find just the right size of box, especially for the smaller gifts. When I learned we can make our own boxes with card stock and designer papers, I was extremely excited! I just love to be able to make boxes to fit my needs. And this box is so easy to make you’ll want to just keep making them and then finding what’ll go inside. This box is a good size and shape fitting an assortment of gifts.
Christmas is just a few weeks away so you may find it quite handy to make some of your own boxes. In fact, this box was one I created to house my handmade jar candle. That project is in my last post. You should check it out, HERE.
However, a 3” cube box like this can be used for anything you like. And it can be made with any colors you wish and for any and all occasions and seasons, making it quite versatile. Below, I’ve shared a list of supplies needed for this project. I’ve also included a diagram to help you visualize your box. You’re just going to love making this adorable and ever-so-useful cube box! So, let’s get started.
